How it works
Kwemou rests on a simple idea: some families organize, other families join them.

Join the community
Create your family's account. If a member family sent you an invitation, your account is active right away. Otherwise, we approve it quickly. Two parents can log in to the same account, each with their own email address. Your children don't have accounts: you only give their first name and date of birth.

Take part in meetups
Browse the meetups in your city or the city you're heading to. Send a request to join, saying who's coming. The organizer gets back to you. Once you're accepted, you can see the location, the program and the budget, and you join the meetup's kibaraza, its chat space.

Organize your own
An outing, a picnic, a weekend: you create the meetup in a few steps, set the number of spots, and the platform takes care of sign-ups, the shared budget and the kibaraza. You can start by co-organizing with a family that has done it before.

A place that grows with you
Every meetup your family takes part in, every family you invite counts. Any member family can co-organize a meetup with a family that has done it before. After two meetups, one of which you co-organized, your family can ask for organizer status to organize its own. Founding families have it from the start. And when your country has 50 member families, the most committed families can put themselves forward to become ambassadors for their country.
How much does it cost?
Until December 31, 2027, your family has two options.
Prices are adapted to the cost of living in each country. How prices are calculated →
Each meetup has its budget: it is shown before you ask to join, and it is recalculated according to the number of families signed up. Kwemou doesn't collect any payments: tickets are often bought directly through the link provided, and shared costs (a dinner, a rental) are settled with the organizer.
