Kwemou: the gathering of all the children.
A name is never just a name. This one is our mission.

A Bana word
Bana is spoken in western Cameroon. There, Kwemou means the gathering, the coming together of children, of all the children. It is also a Cameroonian family name: a name that is passed down, like what we want to pass down.
A word from one language, an idea from all of them
We come from Cameroon, Senegal, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, from everywhere. Every language has its own word for saying that children grow up better together. We chose one, the way you choose a table to gather around. The table belongs to everyone who sits at it.
What we want
For our children to know each other. For them to have, in every city they pass through, families who look like them and welcome them. For them to grow up with our values, our stories, our food and our languages, and with friends who share them.
Meetups first, then a platform
Before it was a website, Kwemou was a trip to Futuroscope in April 2026, then a Halloween weekend in Lyon. The platform serves what already existed: families who love getting together.
